Just an update.

Wanted to let you know that the story has changed considerably since the original plot line post, so if the story pieces don’t match up with that, it’s okay, and I will eventually post an updated outline.

Excerpt #1 from Neverland

[I’m thinking about this being the beginning of the story. It gives you an insight onto what Neverland, and Hook, has become.]

What happens when Peter and Tinkerbell get trapped in an eternal slumber?

Everything changes.

Wendy has grown up with faery tales, but now that she’s older, the magic doesn’t seem real anymore. Deciding to give ol’ Peter Pan one last read before it heads off to the local library, she curls up with the book, falling asleep halfway through. When she wakes up, she finds herself in Neverland.

But this isn’t the Neverland from her childhood. It’s something very, very different.

The Lost Boys, the heroes of Neverland, are now considered criminals. The reason? With Peter and Tink out of the equation, Hook has become King of Neverland, and he’s gone mad with power. With his now-conquered foe, The Crocodile, as his personal assassin, the famed pirate’s sights are now set on harnessing Tink’s magic and becoming an unstoppable force.

The Boys are convinced that Wendy is the salvation they’ve been looking for, though Wendy herself doesn’t think so.

In order to beat Hook to Tink and Peter, Wendy must make allies of the Fae, the Mermayds, and the last Dragon in Neverland. But to even get a shot at Hook, she must befriend the island of Neverland itself. And that won’t be easy, because when Peter and Tink went to sleep, so did Neverland.

Little does she know, Hook isn’t intending to just sit back and let Wendy race for Tink. He’s sent The Crocodile for her.

And Wendy isn’t going down without a fight.
